I grew up in Columbia, MO and attended the University of Missouri, before receiving my master's degree in sports management from the United States Sports Academy. Most of my career has been in sports with organizations including the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Blades, Learfield Sports, Rhycom Sports, and the Kansas City Monarchs. I enjoy spending time with my kids, reading, collecting antique baseball gloves, and playing basketball. Notable achievements include President, Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City and Central Missouri; President, Greater Kansas City Attractions Association; and Alumnus of the Year, United States Sports Academy. I also developed the concept and characterization of Kansas City Royals mascot, Sluggerrr.
