As a lifelong resident of DeWitt, Michigan, I’ve always loved my unique hometown community. As a graduate of DeWitt High School, I knew I wanted my children to grow up with the same small-town values. While we raised our children, I was a stay-at-home mom that volunteered in the schools, coached soccer, fundraised for elementary schools, ran the Junior Panther Football concession stand and the varsity football spirit wear program. I have lots of experience with community-based projects and fundraisers. For seven years, I ran the Race of the Santas and Reindeer Run for our community, raising over $10,000 each year for our two local food pantries. My three children, Anthony, Michael and Grace are proud MSU Spartans as well as my husband, Joe. GO GREEN! We enjoy spending time with them up north on Lake Charlevoix. In my spare time, I play on a women’s travel tennis team and enjoy traveling to Florida for an occasional sunny trip away. I’m excited about helping schools raise funds to support the students, teachers and administration.
