Originally from Laingsburg, Michigan. Sports have always been my passion, throughout high school I played basketball, football, and track & field. I was fortunate enough to help my team to the state championship game in basketball my senior year. I went on to play college basketball for one year at Olivet College before transferring to Michigan State University and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. I worked with the Women’s basketball program while I was a student, serving as a scout team member for Suzy Merchant. I met my wife while at Michigan State, we now have one fur baby who we both love very much. I have spent the last six years coaching college basketball on the Men’s and Women’s sides at the Division I, II, and III levels. We most recently moved back home to Michigan from Tennessee, where I now coach girls’ basketball as the Varsity Head Coach at Ovid-Elsie HS.
